GP | Founder of Heera Healthcare
A GP with experience across primary care, rheumatology and sports medicine, Dr Cindy Kelly founded Heera Healthcare to give patients more time, greater choice and a stronger voice in their care.

I qualified as a doctor from the University of Leicester in 2010 before completing my foundation training and moving to the beautiful North East, where I went on to train as a GP.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience across a range of clinical settings, including working within the rheumatology department of a local hospital and in sports medicine. Alongside my clinical interests, I have always had a passion for medical management and improving the way healthcare is delivered.
This passion inspired me to establish Heera Healthcare: a service created to give patients more time, greater choice and a stronger voice in their care. I believe the best healthcare is built on partnership, empowering people with the knowledge and support they need to take an active role in their health and wellbeing.

— LauraAfter months of being fobbed off I felt like I’ve actually been listened to and my symptoms not ignored or dismissed.
Felt like it was a safe space to discuss what I’d been going through and the hour consultation made it feel less rushed and could go through everything throughly.
Have also been treated like an adult, was given all of the facts (risk and benefits) to make the decision that’s best for me.
I am absolutely delighted with the service I received from Heera Healthcare.
— LornaI am absolutely delighted with the service I received from Heera Healthcare. I have never accessed private GP services before, but I will certainly use Heera Healthcare again. I saw Dr Cindy Kelly – she was kind and listened to all my health concerns, I felt she took me seriously. She never made me feel that I was simply moaning and wasting valuable GP time. Her explanations were clear and concise – she never overwhelmed me with jargon. She allowed me to talk about the issues that I have been worried about for several months, which I haven’t been able to do until now. I will definitely use this service again and I can recommend highly.
